memo 1.7 is available as of today. The theme of this version is "stabilization.” A lot of time has been spent on the Linux version to make the application more stable. In the process, a number of bugs have come to light that also affect the Windows version. A detailed list of all new features, changes, and bug fixes can be found in the change log.

Explorer search view

The new Explorer view provides additional search filter views on existing folders. This is ideal for anyone who doesn't want a "black box” organization but wants to work with their existing folder structures while still using memo's powerful search and annotation features. The various search filter views can also be shown or hidden as desired.

The next milestones

The next versions will address a wide range of challenges. Some important milestones are:

• Support for MacOS operating systems
• Peer-2-peer file transfer
• Various extensions for a better search experience (contacts, emails, OCR, face recognition, etc.)
